WEFIS vs. 1.3

Translation centre

First of all, thank you for looking into translating Wefis! We would like to stress that translating Wefis is done on a voluntary basis only, and the translation will not be paid for! However, the names of the translators will appear in the language files, the readme under credits, and the 'help' window within wefis so that your work will be widely appreciated and properly credited... This document aims at explaining how to do this!

Already translated into the following languages: Translations underway: French, German

The wefis translation depends on a parent software, PRASI. PRASI is available in the following languages: Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Italian, and Spanish. Wefis requires Prasi to have been translate into a particular language before being able to use the translation you provide!

How to translate:
Perl is notoriously hard to translate. Therefore we have developed a small tool to do all translation files for us. To translate, you simply have to translate all the lines in the following file into the language of your choice, whilst not adding new lines. This is important, as we depend on the newline structure to know what goes where!

Once you have translated it, you can mail it to me at franchie (at) users (dot) sourceforge (dot) net

Thank you very much for volunteering to translate Wefis!

Have a nice time!
